The League

The WOAA Senior AA Hockey League sat under the Western Ontario Athletic Association, founded in 1942 by W. T. “Doc” Cruickshank of CKNX Wingham. Senior hockey followed a year later. The 2010 rename added “AA” so the circuit would not be confused with Major League Hockey’s AAA tag. North and south conferences were drawn; northeast, northwest, southeast, southwest divisions sat under them.
